Sri K.T. Rama Rao was born in Siddipet, Telangana, on July 24, 1976, and grew up in politically and socially active environment. Prior to Ministry: After completing his MBA, Sri K.T. Rama Rao worked as IT Professional for six years – from 2001 to 2006. His keen observation of political activism as a child, his international exposure as a student, and his strategic role as IT professional empowered Sri K.T. Rama Rao to join ‘fulltime’ in bandwagon of politics. He became the full-time TRS activist in the year 2006. His go-getter tendency, never give-up mindset, inclination to fight for the deprived enabled him to get connected with wide spectrum of the political arena. He established the required convergence from grass root level workers to the national level leaders. He actively participated in the Telangana movement between 2009 and 2014.

Sri K.T. Rama Rao has been putting relentless efforts in streamlining the assigned portfolios. As an IT Minister, Sri K.T. Rama Rao has come up with omniscient vision to cater the multi-dimensional requirements of the IT industry. Pullela Gopichand

Chief National Coach for the Indian Badminton team

Pullela Gopichand was born on 16 November 1973 to Pullela Subash Chandra and Subbaravamma at Nagandla, Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh . Initially, he was interested in playing cricket, but his elder brother encouraged him to take up badminton instead. He did his schooling from St.Paul’s High School, Hyderguda, Hyderabad. He joined A. V. College, Hyderabad and graduated in public administration. He was the captain of the Indian combined universities badminton team in 1990 and 1991.

Gopichand was coached by S. M. Arif before Prakash Padukone accepted him at Prakash Padukone academy. He also trained under Ganguly Prasad at the SAI Bangalore.

Gopichand won his first National Badminton Championship title in 1996, and went on to win the title five times in a row, until 2000. He won two gold and one silver at the Indian national games, 1998 held at Imphal. At the international level, he represented India in 3 Thomas Cup tournaments. In 1996 he won a gold in the SAARC badminton tournament at Vijayawada and defended the crown in the next games held at Colombo in 1997. At the 1998 Commonwealth Games, he won a silver in the team event and a bronze in men’s singles. In 1999, he won the Toulouse open championship in France and the Scottish open championship in Scotland. He also emerged winner at the Asian satellite tournament held at Hyderabad in the same year, and lost in the final match of the German grand prix championship.

In 2001, he won the prestigious All England Open Badminton Championships at Birmingham. He defeated then world number one Peter Gade in the semi-finals before defeating Chen Hong of China to lift the trophy. He became the second Indian to achieve the feat after Prakash Padukone, who won in 1980.

His research, spanning marketing and finance/economics, has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science and Journal of Banking and Finance. Srini Chandupatla is an angel investor and a serial entrepreneur with more than twenty years of global experience primarily building technology startup businesses. Srini is an experienced strategist, innovator, and a mobile technology expert recognized by TiE Hyderabad. Srini is also the Co-founder and COO of Manjeera Digital Systems based out of India. He was responsible for managing global operations, corporate strategy, business development, product management and delivery teams in multiple mobile startup companies such as Motivity Labs, JP Mobile, Defywire, and Antenna Software. Srini is a mentor and advisor for several emerging technology startup firms.

Srini’s accomplishments include enhancing top line growth, ensuring market profitability, fund raising and acquisitions. Previously, Srini has either worked in or sold to the technology and financial companies such as IBM, Sybase, Research In Motion, Moody’s Investors, Goldman Sachs, and New York Stock Exchange. Srini was the CEO of Innocore Solutions and successfully completed its acquisition.

His team works with multiple healthcare partners in India on application of machine learning and advanced analytics technologies to unlock new insights in clinical and operational spaces. He has over 13+ years of experience in Software development and product management, in the areas of Mobile, Analytics and Cloud computing. He also co-founded a health-care startup on cancer treatment and patient care management.

He is Scholar of Excellence (Gold medalist) in the Business Analytics Programme, ISB, Hyderabad, a Masters in Computer Science from Univ. of Minnesota, and a Bachelors in Computer Science (Gold medalist) from Osmania University.
